英语学习的过程中,听、说、读、写几个方面是相互促进,相互影响的,只有进行全面的训练,才能获得英语基础知识和初步运用英语的能力。为打好英语基础,我们必须养成动笔的习惯。读是信息的吸收与摄入,写是信息的反馈与提取。它要经过大脑的思维与加工提炼的心理过程。通过写作,能进一步完善我们的听说能力,达到初步用英语进行交际的目的。

小学三、四年级的学生处于学习英语的起步阶段,尚不具备独立完成句子或短文写作的能力,但是他们已经学习了一定的词汇和句型,因此,对于他们的写的训练,主要是通过模仿例句完成句子的形式进行。例如,在课堂中,我会让学生完成如下练习:
